Miss Globalcity and Globalcity Image Promotion Ambassador pageant is originated from Miss Chinatown Capital Pageant held in Taiwan from 1989 to 2004. In 2005, Dr. Rujun Chang (Fifi Chang), as a crowned winner of the said pageant and a well-known actress in Taiwan, established Globalcity Pageant Organization (GPO), that we do not only organize the pageant of Miss Globalcity but also of Mrs. Globalcity and the Mr. Globalcity.
